Ben Garrison, can I get a seasonal pass to Woke Disney?

Imagine an amusement park where Make America Great Again (MAGA) is not allowed, where everyone is vaccinated, where programs like Social Security are widely embraced and no one is casually using racial slurs. Does this sound like a place you want to be? Because I looked at Ben Garrison’s “Woke Disney” comic and thought to myself, “How much is a seasonal pass?”

It’s pretty clearly not meant to be an ad for the best amusement park around. There are supposed to be jabs at Black Lives Matter and other anti-hate groups, but it doesn’t meet its mark. The Antifaland image seems more suited for the Capitol Riots. However, you’d have to have a Disney image stealing mail, climbing walls and putting his feet on governmental official’s desk. Donald Duck would have to wear a police officer’s uniform to account for the 140 police officers who were injured on January 6, 2021. The only way to make Donald Duck match a BLM rally would be to have Kyle Rittenhouse walking around — armed at the entrance gate.

ADVERTISEMENT ~ Amazon

As an Amazon affiliate, I earn a percentage from purchases with my referral links. I know some consumers are choosing to boycott Amazon for its DEI removal. However, after thinking about this thoroughly, I want to continue promoting cool products from small businesses, women-owned businesses and (specifically) Black-owned businesses who still feature their items on Amazon. As of the first date of Black History Month 2025, each new post will ALWAYS include a MINIMUM of one product sold by a Black-owned business. (I have visited the seller’s official site to verify that Amazon Black-owned logo.) I am (slowly) doing this with older, popular posts too. If you still choose to boycott, I 100% respect that decision.

I’ve given up entirely on trying to explain to MAGA and other Black Lives Matter critics who do not understand what the purpose of the movement is about. They more often than not do not realize BLM was founded by three women after the Trayvon Martin murder, not the George Floyd murder. They always overlook what James Fields did to Heather Heyer. They’re hard-pressed to even understand the historical frustration of cases like Carolyn Bryant Donham and brush off the modern-day version that is Amy Cooper.
