'Sinners' took home four Oscars, but who performed during 'I Lied To You'?
Get to know some names that were and weren't in the Ryan Coogler film
By now, “Sinners” movie fans are already acquainted with the cast. But at last night’s 98th Academy Awards, there were some artists that may have slipped by your music radar during the recreation of the 1930s Mississippi juke joint show. Check out who was onstage during the “I Lied To You” Oscars performance.

Alice Smith - Vocalist (Performed with Prince and NPR’s “Tiny Desk,” along with 2006 debut album “For Lovers, Dreamers & Me”)

Bobby Rush – Grammy-winning blues musician playing the harmonica next to Buddy Guy (“Cadillac Records” movie fans will be impressed by him being influenced by real-life blues legends Muddy Waters, Little Water and Howlin’ Wolf but disturbed by the reason Chess Records allegedly opted out of working with him)
D-Nice - Deejay (Member of the hip-hop group Boogie Down Productions; music therapy for everyone in social isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic who listened to “Club Quarantine” on Instagram before Verzuz was created)
