I honestly think it’s jealousy and buying into what the tabloids( who have connections to the Royal Family they escaped from) say. Tabitha Brown, B Smith and others have
done similar things and where is the smoke for them? It’s because of how Meghan looks and who she married.
If she married a rapper or athlete, no one would blink. I’m just frustrated that everything is now sold out on her website! LOL

In response to your comment, I just spent 10 minutes trying to think of one guy's name. He was an LGBTQ+ fashion guy who was on some kind of contestant show and had no idea who Tabitha Brown was. One of the contestants mentioned her, and he was confused. People on Twitter were so irate about him not knowing who she was, and I didn't know who she was at the time either. (Was it Billy Porter?)
Anyway, I say that to say Tabitha Brown is definitely well-known among some circles, but I don't think anybody has ever had beef with her for her cooking segments on Instagram or her entire cooking and pet line in Target. (But I could say the same thing for Martha Stewart or Nusret "Salt Bae" Gökçe.)
The level of venom directed at Meghan Markle is nuts post-Harry. Two different worlds celebrity wise. No helicopters are flying over Tabitha's home, and Tyler Perry hasn't had to hide her out.
As far as the venom being about how she looks, you make a solid point about how another black woman (Tabitha) isn't taking all this heat, so it could be elitism and fame more than race. Then again, Kayla Nicole wasn't getting nearly as much criticism until after Travis Kelce started dating Taylor Swift, so maybe that "athlete" comparison comes down to which athlete.
Either way, I subscribed to her "As Ever" newsletter earlier today. Folks are way too mad at this unproblematic woman!
